all attempts to download fail with similar message:
C:\docume~1\MICHAE~1.000\...\*.* could not be saved, because source file could
not be read.
This error appeared only after giving my machine a name (MICHAEL) whence windows
2k inserted MICHAEL.000 into the default path for local settings. I have full
administrator priveleges (the same error occurs for the administrator). I
suspect that the problem is the appearence of a PERIOD in the name of a
DIRECTORY (MICHAEL.000) in the path to a file that mozilla wants to open.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.download any file
2.
3.
Actual Results:
download immediately aborted
Expected Results:
not aborted!
