Steps to reproduce:

So go on discord
Share screen with firefox as the application
Play a random video

Actual results:

Video will freeze after 3-7 seconds of playing but the audio would keep going on

Expected results:

the video should keep playing without any interruption
(I reverted back to 97.0.2 and it fixed the issue)

Thanks for the bug report! Are you using discord through Firefox, or the stand alone app?

Could you try gathering a profile of the issue happening using the Firefox profiler and the 'media' preset in the profiler? Once you have the profile could you use the share/upload button and post the link on this bug?

If you're able, it would also be useful if you could use mozregression-gui to figure out which version of Firefox introduced the issue. If I can help provide further information to help with that, let me know.

While testing screen-sharing option on Discord in Firefox 123.0b5, I've noticed similar issue where the shared screen is loading endlessly although the audio is still working.
Setting this as NEW. Please let me know if a separate bug should be filed for this one.
