(Whiteboard: [closeme 2025-02-15])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:98.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/98.0
Steps to reproduce:
I closed one or more tabs, either directly or by running a message filter than moved the messages in the tabs.
Actual results:
A tab is left open with a blank tab heading.
Expected results:
Tabs meant to close should close. Tabs not targeted for closing should remain open and uncorrupted.
I don't have a reliable reproduction for this yet, but it's happened at least twice, causing me to stop using message tabs, which is one of Thunderbird's standout features.

Reporter,
Does this still reproduce for you when using version 102?

Unfortunately, I still don't use message tabs, due to the bug.

THis shouldn't happen in version 115.
Unfortunately, I'm still encountering a problem, although I don't know if it's quite the same one. What I'm seeing now is blank tabs with blank headings, and I'm not sure how they appeared.

Can you exactly explain what a "message tab" is? Does this mean a message you've clicked on in you In Inbox and have it displayed as a full screen tab now? The STR are not clear to me at all.

TCW can you reproduce?
Let me see if I can get some clarity first. I am not understanding what the issue is nor how to attempt to repro.
