Steps to reproduce:
open firefox 98.0 running Fedora 5.16.18-100.fc34.x86_64
open a number of tabs in firefox (rareshare2.me, tvchaosuk.com, discord.com, bom.gov.au)
leave the computer for 1 hour
Actual results:
tabs reload when you click on them
Expected results:
tabs should not reloas

Solution found. I had added an extra VM to my set up and this was chewing up memory.
Removed the VM and the problem is no more
