"Edit" button sometimes inaccessible in Event dialog

Steps to reproduce:

Create an event and for the description field put a long URL (or any longish string with no spaces). Then open the event. (Running on Ubuntu 21.10, if that matters.)

Actual results:

The Edit button does not appear in the event dialog. Presumably it's right aligned and because the URL pushes way outside of the visible part of the dialog, the Edit button is way out there as well. You can tab to it without seeing it then hit enter, but that's obviously not ideal

Expected results:

The Edit button should always be visible in the event dialog.

I don't see this at least on trunk.
