Support for manifest_version 3 and Event Pages is currently locked behind the following about:config prefs:
extensions.eventPages.enabled(enable support for the non persistent background page, a.k.a. event pages, in manifest_version 2 extensions)extensions.manifestV3.enabled(allows extensions with manifest_version 3 manifests to be installed)
It would be useful to include these two preferences in about:support and the telemetry environment to aid investigating newly filed issues.
