User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:99.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/99.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have 6 folders and about 30 bookmarks in bookmarks toolbar
  2. Go tools / settings / General / Start up and check the "Open previous windows and tabs" and restart the Firefox with
  3. Close the Firefox with multiple (4) tabs open.
  4. Restart Firefox

Actual results:

  1. Bookmark toolbar has only "Import bookmarks..." visible. (Pic1).
  2. I can not open my bookmarks as they are not visible in the bookmark toolbar.
  3. You can not right click the bookmark toolbar to create new bookmarks.
  4. From main menu / Bookmarks / Bookmarks Toolbar I can see all the bookmarks that I have and open them. They are just not shown in the bookmark toolbar.

Expected results:

  1. Bookmark toolbar should show my bookmarks and I should be able to interact with the bookmark toolbar as usual.

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue on Firefox 99.0 on Windows 10 x64.
To eliminate custom settings as a possible cause, could you please retest this using Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and with a new profile?

It's "funny", but I just closed Firefox and opened it in safe mode. The bookmarks toolbar works like it should. I then closed the safe more and started it like normal and bookmark toolbar works still. I don't know what the safe mode does, but it changed something that even a restart of the computer couldn't fix. So working now.
