The patch in bug 174634 fixes a recent regression. I propose to land this fix for Mozilla 1.2 final and make NSS_CLIENT_TAG contain the fix from bug 174634. I will ask Mozilla drivers for approval.
The original problem description can be seen in bug 173939, which had been morphed into a NSS bug. Marking as regression.
