link context menu has two items with 'c' hotkey copy link location and copy copy link location should probably retain 'c' since it's the most likely choice and (c)opies the selected object. EVEN WORSE the c-for-copy item is enabled even when it's greyed out. This means I can't hit c to use the menu because even though one is disabled, there are two choices.

apps, not menus (although this duplicate only shows up when you have the link text selected, right? So this is eminently 'futurable', no?)

NO. It shows up always. Copy is greyed out, but the (c) is still active, as I explained. Major access issue. Not future.

Copy is now not greyed out, but hidden, and Copy Link Location works. When the link text is also selected, the c key does not execuete one of the actions, but also select; pressing it multiple times toggles between the two options. So only a minor problem is left.
Severity: normal → minor
Summary: link context menu has two items with 'c' hotkey → link context menu has two items with 'c' hotkey (Copy and Copy Link Location)

Hi Wayne, first I also did not understand it again... but at least in SeaMonkey 1.0.4 (and I doubt a lot has changed since then) the behavior is still the same: when you select the link (click mouse in front of the first letter, keep button pressed, drag mouse to end of link, release button) and then do a right-click on it, then the context menu still contains TWO items with "c" hotkey ("Copy" and "Copy Link Location"). However, when this menu is open and you press "c", there is not one of those two actions executed, but it is only being highlighted. When you press "c" again, the other one is highlighted. And so on. But as I said, the remaining issue is pretty small, so I leave this bug closed.

Maybe the problem is solved in the web windows, but it is still present in the mail windows of Seamonkey. If you right click in a web/Browser window the shortcut to Copy is C, while the shortcut to "Copy Link Location" is L (so no problem here) (the Copy Link Location only appears if the right click is done over a link) However, if the same thing is done in the message pane of the mail or in a window showing a mail message, both Copy and "Copy Link Location" have the same shortcut C, and if C is pressed Copy is activated and never "Copy Link Location"
