[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Launch Firefox and access "about:welcome".
2. Click on the “Start Setup” button
3. Click on the “Not now” button.
4. Click a theme from the displayed theme tiles.
5. Open a new tab and visit "www.google.com".

[Expected result]:

• The theme (colors) of the “www.google.com” is the same as that of the selected theme of Firefox.

[Actual result]:

• The theme of “www.google.com” is not the selected theme of Firefox, which remains unchanged from the previous Firefox theme. After refreshing the page, the theme of “www.google.com” is changed to the selected theme of Firefox.

I was able to reproduce this on MacOS 11 and Windows 10 as well, the theme does not have to be changed from about:welcome.
This also occurs when going from dark to light mode.

As an additional note, if you have a google search already open when you change the theme you need to refresh it twice in order for this to take effect on the page.
