Go to http://www.twofifty.net/ and click FAQ link on top of the page. FAQ page is long enough to show the bug. Actual Result : User cannot access lower parts of the page, One can access only a part of the page dragging scrollbar. Expected result: User can access bottom of the page using scrollbar Mozilla 1.2B (and earlier versions) Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021016
Worksforme, Linux trunk build 2002-10-18-08...
Summary: Cannot access bottom of the page using scrollbar → Cannot access bottom of the page using scrollbar
After a page is completely loaded, the scrollbars are not updated properly when the size of the page contents are modified using DHTML + DOM. The scrollbars seem to be unaware of changes in the client rectangle of the main window. If the overall length of a page is increased (ie. a longer content is injected), not only the vertical scrollbar fails to catch up with the new height, but also the bottom of the page is not painted properly.
Ates Goral, what build are you using?
Oh sorry. I'm using build 2002101612.
I also forgot to say that I'm using Windows XP SP1. I'm trying to replicate the problem with a simple page, but I couldn't succeed yet. I've observed this behavior only at http://twofifty.net. I'll try to come up with a test case.
With Mozilla 1.2 beta (2002101612) on Windows 2000, running the browser maximized in 1024x768, the scrollbar usually doesn't go all the way. I got it to work once, but unfortunately, I could never reproduce it.
There is no longer a FAQ located at that site. Could you provide a testcase, or confirm this bug no longer exists in a new build?
Resolving as WFM due to lack of response, and lack of testcase. Please reopen if you can demonstrate the bug in a new build.
