open URL
click on new tab button
open new tab

Expected result:- new tab has be opened.

Actual Result :-new tab has not be opened.

I didn't manage to reproduce your issue on Firefox 87 on Windows 10 x64.
Could you please retest this using Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode and with a new profile?
