Steps to reproduce:

Click on the new tab button and start typing in the address bar with the cursor still hovering over the new tab button

Actual results:

The address bar freezes meaning that the actual text that i'm typing doesn't update in the address bar, sometimes the text will update but the suggestions drop down will show up only the first few characters that i typed, this being a big issue because the suggestions will send me either to random websites that start with the characters that got recorded or to a useless duckduckgo search with irrelevant information.

Expected results:

Regular address bar behavior with no freezing or laggy suggestions.
