176713 - [gtk2] unable to type carets and tildes in forms

Any attempt for typing a caret or a tilde in a form doesn't seem to do anything
at all.  In gtk widgets, like the location entry, and also in mozilla they work
as usual, dead_key+space produces the key.  According to xev the keysyms are
dead_circumflex and dead_tilde accordingly.

This bug doesn't seems to be caused by bug 176514 : I've tried latest patch from
this bug and carets, tildes and other similar stuff can't still be typed..

My mistake, this bug in indeed a duplicate of bug #176514 and is fixed with
patch from #176514 when you think to enable XIM (I'm too stupid..)
