Reproduction Steps: 1. Using the latest Flash beta, namely that available at: http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/flashplayer_beta.htm navigate to the above URL (http://taboca.com/worlds/gek/testcases/wmode/wmode-macromedia.html). Ensure that you've disabled previous Flash such as Flash 6 r47 in favor of the beta, namely Flash 6 r60 2. Expected Behavior: you can play and stop the animation by clicking on the Flash buttons. 3. Actual Behavior: you cannot play, stop the animation. Using Mozilla 1.x codebase, particularly N7. If you use the "old" Flash which is currently released (Flash 6 r47) it works fine. 4. Other testcases: http://yp.sina.net -- The IBM ad which gets bigger when the mouse cursor is over it, does not shrink back to the original small size any more with this new version and then clicking on the bigger ad does not trigger re-routing the IBM site. Something has changed in the new Flash version. We need to investigate more now. FSCommands seem to NOT work in conjunction with wmode.
All of these issues should be fixed in beta 2 of the upcoming Flash release.
Beta 2 addresses this: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/special/beta/
changing to FIXED, waiting for shrir, etc. to verify (or mgalli).

One minor issue at http://yp.sina.net/ When you hover over the floating ibm ad, the cursor does not change to one indicating you can click. You can still click though.
> When you hover over the floating ibm ad, the cursor does not change to one > indicating you can click. You can still click though. Do you want to file another bug fro this? I agree that other than this problem, the main problem at yp.sina.net has been resolved.
