getTabForBrowser currently handles the case of the main messagepane browser being re-used across multiple tabs, however, it doesn't handle the multimessagepane.

Bug 1627556 added that change but it isn't a regression. I don't think this practically affects any Thunderbird functionality at the moment, I noticed it whilst debugging an issue in Conversations.

Given the new structure of the mail window, and it is now the top-level browser elements, not the messagepane ones that are checked in getTabForBrowser, this bug is no longer applicable.
