Popup appearing upon clicking "Launch profile in new browser"

- Start a file download on any site.
- Go to about:profiles
- Click on the "Launch profile in new browser" option for another profile, other than the one currently being used.
Actual results:
A warning dialogue opens, informing that "If you exit now, 1 download in progress will be canceled. Are you sure you want to exit?" . Selecting the option "Cancel 1 Download" doesn't actually cancel the download, however.
Expected results:
No popup should have shown up, as profile switching doesn't cancel downloads.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::File Handling' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

This is a bug in about:profiles, which tells the rest of the app that the user asked to quit, which is not true.

Reproduced the issue with Firefox 102.0a1 (20220508190220) on Windows 10x64 and steps from comment 0.
The issue is no longer reproducible with Firefox 102.0b3 (20220602190016) on Windows 10x64, macOS 11 and Ubuntu 21.10. The warning dialogue is no longer displayed after launching a profile in a new browser while a download is running.
