The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Theme' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

I was unable to reproduce this issue, the theme was retained post update on my end.
Could you check if it also occurs on Firefox Nightly? You can download it from here:
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-nightly
Nightly gets updates daily, so if possible wait till tomorrow and check if the issue occurs then.
Thanks!
Tried it twice on Nighly:
102.0a1 -> 103.0a1
and to 102.0a1, probably from 101.0a1
Just tried it on normal Firefox:
100.002 -> 101.0
Haven't obesrved the issue as well.
If it happens again I'll report (with more info than initially) but for now I guess it can be closed.

I'll go ahead and close it then, feel free to re-open it if the issue resurfaces.
Thanks for the update!
