Details

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open any website that contains video (Do NOT use websites with CUSTOM players, such as YouTube), also make sure that you are watching video NOT is embedded mode.

  2. In default player, click at picture-in-picture mode button

Actual results:

After you did actions I describe before, range input or whatever it is disappears, so you can't change volume by mouse (but you still can change volume by arrow keys).

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Video/Audio Controls' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Video/Audio Controls
Product: Firefox → Toolkit

I'm unable to reproduce this. I tested with https://www.learningcontainer.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/sample-mp4-file.mp4, and clicked the button to put the video in picture-in-picture mode. I was then still able to change the volume using the controls on the originating page. Can you describe where you were looking for the volume slider?
