The Primary Password (Master Password) turns off after Firefox Update.
...
Kind request to default the Primary Password to On for machines that had it enabled before the update.
...
I checked if I have any profiles using the command firefox.exe -P and it shows that I have > two: default-release and default.

I also use Firefox Multi-Account Containers add-on.

My current Firefox version is: 100.0.2 (64-bit) which was updated from 100.0 (64-bit)

My OS details are:
Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H2
Installed on ‎29-‎09-‎2021
OS build 19044.1706
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0

Hani, lets confirm we have steps to reproduce.

I couldn't manage to reproduce this issue on Windows 10 x64.

I tried by following these steps:

  1. Install Firefox 100.0
  2. Enabled and set primary password
  3. Install and set Firefox Multi-Account Containers add-on
  4. Update Firefox to 100.0.2

Results: After Firefox updated to 100.0.2 I received a popup to enter the primary password and in "about:preferences" primary password was checked.
