Specifically I think we could gather data on:
- Event dialog vs event tabs.
- Hits of the "Modification Failed" conflict dialog.
- Hits of general errors that disable calendars.
(1) would shed some light on whether eliminating either of the two will be missed. (2) and (3) will help us have a better understanding of the quality of experience users face.

Not sure you can do much about #2 - after fixing all the bugs it should very rarely happen (not that we're there yet!)

I think it's more of a design issue that just fixing bugs. Events can change on the server before TB has a chance to refresh the items and the user takes action. Servers can also have bugs like not incrementing the sequence number that cause us to run into problems. The itip code is too trusting in that respect and needs to be updated to be more robust (eventually).
