Steps to reproduce:

My browser refuses to work properly, is there a way to get it to work properly on an old PC dating from 2003?

Actual results:

My browser crashes all the time, but what's going on?

I have a big problem with my Mozilla browser, it crashes all the time, except when I use the site talk with strangers http://www.bloggors.com, but the other sites like YouTube, Udemy, it crashes I do not know if it is because my pc does not have enough resources.
My pc is an old pc that dates back to 2003.
500MB RAM
20GB hard drive

Expected results:

I would like Firefox to work on any site without crashing or freezing. I would like it to work on any site especially udemy, youtube. Although, these sites tend to take a lot of resources to load, but can you improve the Firefox browser so I can use it properly on my pc?

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Performance' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Performance
Product: Firefox → Core

This can happen sometimes, if you open several tabs at once, the best is to close them and at least leave two to three tabs open. For the software, leave only the firefox browser on and nothing else, because on such a pc which is at least 500MB, it is the least you can do.

Please follow the steps on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-crashes-closing-or-quitting and provide your Report ID here. Thanks!
