User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:100.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/100.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Set my own colors so that I can read the screen under ordinary lighting.

  2. Installed Firefox Translations: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-translations/

Actual results:

Got unreadable form, attached.

Hi @MarjaE from the attached screenshot I can read the text without issues, After installing the firefox translations addon on my end I noticed that I also had 2 buttons that are not displayed in your screenshot, is that the unreadable form you are seeing ?

You mentioned that you set your own colors on Mac OS, can you tell me how to set up the exact colors you were using ? and also does this issue also occur in our latest Nightly build ? you can find it here : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/

I will set the accessibillity Component for now but we can change it later if its not the correct one.

Yes.

In Firefox.

Open about:preferences, (warning, be careful not to accidentally scroll, since scrolling about:preferences can trigger migraines and severe nausea), click the search bar and search for colors, click Manage Colors, pick black for text, white for background, red for unvisited links, pink for visited links. Set Override to always.

and also does this issue also occur in our latest Nightly build ?

I don't know. In the past, I've screwed up my installation from testing Nightly without going through Mozregression.

Flags: needinfo?(erwinm)

Thank you @MarjaE for the quick reply, I was able to reproduce this issue on my end as well, the buttons are there but they are invisibile when we set the Overide option to Always in manage colors.
