Steps to reproduce:
I am reposting this bug #1766093 that was closed because the issue was not fixed. After clicking on the video frame and slightly moving the mouse before releasing, it causes the video frame to be selected, then when navigating to the home page, everything becomes selected.

Expected results:
Video frames should not be able to be selected, as they are not rich text. Disabling video frames from being select able appears to be the solution from everything on the next page from being highlighted blue. There are currently no other ways to trigger this from happening.

Hi, thanks for filing! Bug 1766093 was fixed, but that fix is currently only available in Firefox Nightly, not the version you're using (101). Can you still reproduce this bug in Firefox Nightly?

Can you define how a bug can be classified as "fixed"? If the solution is not available in the main version of Firefox that the masses use, then to me it doesn't sound like the issue was resolved.

A bug is considered "fixed" when an associated code change lands in the mozilla-central repository.

I was able to reproduce this on Firefox 101 and I've verified the fix on Firefox Beta 102.0b4 and Firefox Nightly 103.0a1.
Since the fix is already in 102, it will be out on release (Firefox main version if you will) soon.
