Steps to reproduce:
IN THUNDERBIRD:
When I FORWARD [Ctrl+L] the attached message, in the resulting compose window, there is no visible header information (tho' the header table outlines are visible). Anything I type in the compose window above the header table outlines is also NOT VISIBLE.
INVISIBLE FONT PROBLEM:
When I select (highlight) everything from below the header table outlines [click] to the top of the compose window [Ctrl+Shift+Home], the header fields and whatever I have typed appear visibly highlighted. Then I select: >Format >Text Color (the current text color is shown as '#ffffff'), so I select BLACK color (#000000) and click [OK]. Now the header fields and whatever I have typed appear as black on a white background.
INVISIBLE BULLETS PROBLEM:
Now, when I try to format a Bulleted List [>Format >List >Bulleted] or a Numbered List [>Format >List >Numbered] (either from the 'Menu Toolbar' or from the 'Formatting Toolbar' shortcut icons) ... the new text is indented normally, but the BULLETS and the NUMBERS are NOT VISIBLE.
IN GOOGLE-MAIL WEB INTERFACE:
Neither of these problems appears!

I do see this when using beta 102 - reply works nicely, but forward does not.
I recall seeing a report recently that forward should behave the same as reply.

a) Is this a problem with Tbird-102?
b) Or with my installation of Tbird-102?
If (a), is there any hope for a fix?
Or should I consider Outlook?
There are also cases where the forwarded-message header and composer-area are all DARK -- the same color as the background of the forwarded-message; and the header and entered text are not visible.
