The cause of this problem is in the following
lin:
actionpath=document.kemini.interface.value;
in the JS file: http://chat.lycos.com.cn/mainfuc2.js
The problem is the use of the name "interface" to
refer to an object on the page. See this JS reference
page:
http://devedge.netscape.com/library/manuals/2000/javascript/1.5/reference/keywords.html#1004016
It lists "interface" as one of the reserved words for JavaScript.
And I quote:
"The reserved words in this list cannot be used as JavaScript variables,
functions, methods, or object names. Some of these words are keywords used in
JavaScript; others are reserved for future use. "

Fix proposal:
1. Change the following line:
<select name="interface">
at: http://chat.lycos.com.cn/
to something like:
<select name="itface">
2. Change all occurences of "interface" to something
like "itface" in the file so that it will match the
name used in document in 1. in the following .js file:
http://chat.lycos.com.cn/mainfuc2.js
=================================================
These changes should take care of this problem.
