RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1765135

People

(Reporter: andre, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:101.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/101.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open any YouTube video.
  2. Switch to fullscreen playback.

The problem not limited to YouTube, Disneyplus or Netflix are also affected.

(Seems to happen only on the first video after fresh start of Firefox. Also going back to normal view and switching to fullscreen again also fixes the issue until next start of Firefox.)

Actual results:

The video switches to fullscreen playback but does not fit the whole screen. It leaves about 10 pixels on the left and top of the windows desktop visible.

Expected results:

The video should fit the whole screen 100% without any borders.

Summary: When switching to fullscreen video playback (e.g. YouTube), the screen is not filled 100% → Fullscreen video playback (e.g. YouTube), does not fit the whole screen.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core

Sounds like same issue as bug 1765135.
