Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:101.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/101.0

Steps to reproduce:

I opened the website https://paveldogreat.github.io/WebGL-Fluid-Simulation/ on a 240 hz monitor, on a GeForce RTX 3090 GPU + 12900kz cpu, on a G9 widescreen Samsung, (5120 x 1440 native resolution), latest Windows 11 64-bit and Nvidia drivers all current as of 6/17/2022.

Actual results:

Dragging the mouse with left button pressed to create the colorful vortices along the entire screen is now noticeably choppy

Expected results:

Animation used to be as buttery smooth in Firefox (i.e. seeming to flow at the full native screen's framerate) as it still is today in the latest versions of Chrome and Edge on my PC (I just checked.)

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Canvas: WebGL' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Canvas: WebGL
Product: Firefox → Core
