Note

  • When the user plays a Funimation video, launches PiP and double-clicks it to go into full-screen mode, he will notice that in under a minute, the PiP will exit full-screen mode by itself.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Load a video from funimation.com (VPN on US)
    (ex. https://www.funimation.com/v/the-rising-of-the-shield-hero/the-shield-hero)
  2. Launch PiP.
  3. Double-click PiP to go into full-screen.
  4. Watch it for a minute or so.

Expected result

  • The video continues playing in PiP, in full screen mode.

Actual result

  • The PiP will exit full screen mode by itself in under a minute.

Regression range

  • Not a recent regression.

considering this is an issue specific to Funimation and full screen is not a primary feature of PiP, I will lower the severity to S4.

Severity: S3 → S4

This behavior was also found to reproduce in Beta v105.0b2 on MacOS 10.13 with a video with "pure" WebVTT subs.
