Running 1.2.1 release on Linux (RH 7.3), this problem started one day, several
days after I had installed 1.2.1. Each time, I had to kill Mozilla then restart
its, and each time, as soon as I pressed <Ctrl><F> or clicked Edit->Find in
Page, Mozilla would hang, and take up 99 % of CPU time. Finally I decided to
run strace(1) on the Mozilla process. As long as I had strace running, Find in
Page worked. As soon as I killed strace, Mozilla hung, and as soon as I
restarted strace, Mozilla sprang back to life.
