Steps to reproduce:
I open my mails to read them (this is on Win7-64).
Actual results:
The whole Thunderbird screen flickers for a second or so, and often display elements look garbled, as shown in the attached image.
Expected results:
No flicker, no garbled display.

You can try unchecking ≡ > Settings > General > [ ] Use hardware acceleration when available.
This used to be a problem in Mozilla platform/Firefox, but I haven't seen it for a while.
Are you still seeing same problem with TB 102?

Note, Windows 7 is almost two years out of support - time to upgrade. :)
