Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021028 and also bulid 20021027 After I install my new bukild everything works fine, but after 1-2 days (and maybe any changes in prefs or something like that) mozilla becomes quite unstable and it hangs with 100% if I try to select the search-tab in the sidebar. Until now I did not find how to make it reproducable. My only experiances: - problem stays if I Install mozilla into the same folder agein - problem disappears if I install a new mozilla-build in a new folder - today I was successful with uisng an older mozilla-build (20020913) for 1 time after that now I can use my actual build again - Interesting: 2 times "Netscape-Search"; might have to do with the probem? might be that the problem started after I changed "Internet-Search"-pref from "Netscape" to "DMOZ" (I am not shure) There might be a connection to bug 148134
Attached image screenshot
shows 2 times "Netscape-search"

I had it again with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20021103 Again I had a second "Netscape-Search" in the sidebar This time, I was no longer able to open the mailnews-Window. Today I was successful again with uisng an older mozilla-build (20020913) for 1 time after that now I can use my actual build again (but the second "Netscape-Search" in the sidebar did not disappear).
Rainer, I'm marking this a dup of bug 175324. There's a patch attached. Please re-open if the patch doesn't fix the problem you are experiencing. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 175324 ***

Rainer Bielefeld, the duplicated search engines, that's bug 169303 (I knew there was one about this). Now the reporter of that bug mentioned that it's not happening any more. You might want to check that bug out, if you still have this problem.
