The dialog decision is not remembered! If I click "Cancel" and then reload a
page (www.linuxtoday.com) I get the same popup again. This decision should at
least be remembered throughout the current session.
Remove the libnullplugin.so files from your mozilla/plugin directory. Then never
a popup ask you for downloading the missing plug in.

If this is, what you want, then close this bug as worksforme.
opi@gmx.at,

Thank you for your sugestion. However, what you describe is a workaround, not a
fix. The problem should not exist.

Is the dialog Linux-specific? I'm using WinXP and can't remember if I've ever
seen the dialog. I usually just see the in-page "puzzle" icon where the plugin
should be.

Jess Thrysoee: "The dialog decision is not remembered!" is bug 175206.
Summary: browser plugin pop up alert → Use icon instead of dialog to indicate missing plugin
Hi,

if you go to http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/expose/
click on one of the popup links with a quicktime video, you will always see
this plugin error. It is really anoying.. so if there could be a way to turn
it off, that would be great!

Kind regards
