RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 122698

People

(Reporter: missive, Assigned: asa)

Details

A user has already started mozilla and has been viewing web pages,
using the "default" profile (the only one being used, and the only
one that should ever be used...)

The window is minimized because one of three things happens:

The browser locks up OR
user switches tasks OR
user wants a new window (many use this technique)

The mozilla icon is clicked again.

Instead of just getting a new window, they get the "profile manager"
which is not what they want, and is confusing, and almost impossible
to get past for many users.

What should happen:

1) New window opens, still using "default" profile, and user starts
   browsing in the new window.

2) If the other window was minimized because it was "frozen" or
"locked up", mozilla should try to detect an unresponsive window
and try to close that window.
see bug 167923 comment 1. Resolving as dup of bug 122698.
