This is a tracking bug for the Subscribe dialog. I'm guessing Paul can do the
XUL, with backend help from bienvenu and sspitzer, but we can load-balance
however you guys want.

Seth, we agreed this was your highest priority task.  P3 is not right.  Please
add a time estimate to the status whiteboard, I think you said a week for this.

this is the big one.  marking 3 weeks, as there is a lot to do.

(I seem to underestimate how long things will take me, and there is a lot to
do for subscribe.)

but, this will be there for beta2.  I'm making progress on this.

Please also add the description of the newsgroup;
Netscape Comm. only showed Name|(Un)Subscribed|Num. of messages, many (all)
servers have also a description of each newsgroup available. (See e.g. `tin´,
when you are on unix)

I agree with burnus, that this is important. Some noise on the newsgroups
(including n.p.mozilla.*) could be reduced with it.

Seth, there is no problem for open the subscribe dialog from WinNT by using 
today's commercial build, but from the other platforms (Linux & Mac 9.0), it 
will hang/freeze from the File|Subscribe menu, reopen this bug or log another 
bug?

worksforme on Linux with build built 3 hs or so ago. (*Lots* of other problems,
though.)

BTW: What does the space at the bottom cost?
