Steps to reproduce:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/102.0.2 64-Bit
as well as
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/102.0.2 32-Bit
i'm working on imap having about 300 folders and subfolders to handle.
after upgrading to thunderbird 102 "sort by ... threaded" seems to be the new default setting for folder views as in all the folders that were set to "sort by ... unthreaded" by default before the upgrade the view is now "threaded".
it's possible to set view > sort by > unthreaded manually per folder.
Actual results:
but as i have lots of folders to handle i don't want to switch every single one of them to "unthreaded" manually.
so, in the config editor i changed "mailnews.default_view_flags" from default 1 to 0. but that didn't change a thing. the folders with threaded view before changing the setting in the config editor are still threaded.
Expected results:
it should have changed the view to unthreaded for all the folders, but it didn't.
i posted in the support board, and it seems the specific problem might be that i have lots of folders as others get their views unthreaded after changing that setting "mailnews.default_view_flags" from default 1 to 0: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1383023#answer-1520487
i also tried to set that value to 32 with no effect.
so i assume there might be a bug causing thunderbird 102 to not being able to handle that change of view when the amount of folders to handle is beyond a certain amount.
