If Firefox Desktop closes uncleanly in such a way that there are some unsubmitted events for the "newtab" ping, we'll see an error like this in the log:

[2022-07-21T15:39:09Z ERROR glean_core::metrics::ping] Invalid reason code startup for ping newtab

I'm filing this bug just to publish the decision that we don't think this matters too much and we can wait for a fix to bug 1780588 to come along and tell us what changes will be made to resolve this for us.

(Though, obviously, if this is a problem and we're wrong to ignore it until then, please do comment and/or reopen)
