There are a few PSM UI elements that we have identified as being unnecessary for the browser. These include the "backup" buttons for client authentication certificates, the "add certificate exception" dialog, and the PKCS#11 module manager. We need to collect telemetry on their usage to determine how disruptive they would be to remove.

Yes.

Yes. This collection is Telemetry so can be controlled through Firefox's Preferences.

If the request is for permanent data collection, is there someone who will monitor the data over time?

No. This collection will expire in 6 months.

Category 2, Interaction.

Default on for all channels.

No.
