Steps to reproduce:

  1. Ubuntu 20.04LTS install openbox
  2. Restart and switch to openbox windowManager
  3. Terminal open firefox
  4. Press F11 to switch to fullscreen mode

Expected results:

Minimize, restore and close buttons are displayed in the upper right corner.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Session Restore' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Session Restore

I checked the source code of firefox and found that the three icons of minimize, restore and close are blank, which may be the reason why the icons cannot be displayed.

Hi Yuran.hu does this issue occur in our latest Nightly build ? can you please try this and see if it still occurs ? you can find it here : https://nightly.mozilla.org/ also do you by any chance have the widget.dmabuf-textures.enabled set to true in about:config ?

I have tested Nightly build and the problem still persists.
Setting widget.dmabuf-textures.enabled to true in about:config also has no effect.

Hi @yuran.hu do you happen to have a specific Theme selected for Openbox? This issue could be related to the Light theme, does it still happen if you change your theme to a different one ? or by switching to a light or dark themese in about:preferences ?

Closing it as Incomplete for now. We can reopen this issue when more information is provided.
