firefox loads to the point that tab titles show (with no page content) then immediately crashes.

Steps to reproduce:
Started up computer from normal shutdown, opened PC game deep rock galactic and as that was loading also opened firefox.
Actual results:
As the game continued to load (which usually takes some time) firefox opened, then almost immediately crashed. This persisted after several restarts and shut downs of the system, as well as in firefox safe mode, and after creating a new profile.
Expected results:
Firefox would open and load previous tabs with the page content shortly before or shortly after the game loaded.
