User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:103.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/103.0
Steps to reproduce:
The problem is not difficult to reproduce in Firefox V103. Was worse in V102. Do not believe that I experienced in V101 or before, Need to have streaming video, pictures and popups in website. Foxnews.com is a good example, but also on Yahoo mail one time. Switch from main page to separate news article. This is a semi random event and does not occur every time. Have had most occurrences with "Political cartoon of the day", but others at random too. Have not been able to duplicate with Thor [like using dialup] or Opera [because no Pix or proper inst to get pix] . Does not occur off line or on any other programs on system. Ran memory check for over 3 hours with out errors. Tried to go back to V101 but required new profile was unmanageable for my use. Recovered and went back to v103.
Actual results:
On Fox [the most prevalent website] switch from main page menu of news stories to the actual article. When the new tab comes up, it displays for a second or two then starts to flash black screen and back to normal. The flashing happens 3 or more times and then a popup appears in bottom left corner with info on video driver crash and recovery. In V102 the system always hung and was unresponsive [no mouse or keyboard response] and required a manual shutdown and restart to recover. In V103 it often recovers properly and the system continues to operate until after another event where it does not and requires manual shutdown and restart [I always restart in safe mode with manual shutdown]. Presumption on my part is that an illegal command was passed to driver that may be valid in a Win 11 system but not in older Win7. Definitely did not occur in V101, bad in 102 but some recovery in 103 but still not right.
Expected results:
Page display normal with various ads, popups, streaming video and the text that I wanted to read. This is the case most of the time. Can not predict when the next event will happen.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
