Steps to reproduce:

open firefox

and then open the StackOverflow HTML file

then the firefox tab crashes

Actual results:

the tab crashes

Expected results:

it should not crash

OS: Unspecified → Windows 10
Hardware: Unspecified → Desktop

Hm... I have to challenge the notion that it should not crash here? The test case explicitly infinitely nests a div, which would doom most, if not all, browsers. At least, I can confirm that this will cause Chrome & iOS Safari crashes as well.
