Steps to reproduce:

As usual I want to copy / paste events in the calendar, but nothing happens at all. I can create a new event, but copy paste does not work at all.

I cleaned the start cache, re-installed Thunderbird -- no resolution.

I am using a caldav server on a raspberry, no Google add-on.

Actual results:

Absolutely nothing happens.

Expected results:

Should have pasted copied event in the calendar.

Hi again.

I have no clue what is different now, but it works again? Sorry for the confusion.

Hello again.

Okay. There is something strange happening here with copy/paste. It happened again. Trying to copy an event and pasting is not working correctly. Did someone change the code somehow between the last version and the present version?

I tried to copy/paste some events for my shift plan. It did not do anything. Marking an event and then copy or Ctrl+C and trying to paste by paste or CTRL+V did not do anything. After clicking around in the windows it surprisingly worked for some of the events in the present view. When changing back one or two month I copied another event and tried to paste it -> nothing happens. What I learned the last time it took a good 1-2 seconds to wait until the "copy" worked - then just copy and paste rapidly it happened nothing. Again I was not able to copy and paste another event until I opened it, clicked save and then again copy -> paste it worked.

Is there some kind of a problem with the "caching" or storing events locally in memory, or any changes in the code (re-)loading events from calendars not stored locally?

It's really is kind of annoying and am I the only guy having this problem?

Thank you for your help.
