11/04-08w32 1. from this bug, select universal detector 1' notice that your fonts have some size X. the page detection for this bug is Western (ISO-8859-1) 2. click Query (url at top or from footer) to load http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ 2' notice that your fonts are now much larger and uglier. the page detection for the query is Chinese Simplified (GB18030) I think this change is a result of me adding a Chinese Simplified localization to the Localization product. I'll try to write a testcase. Jag didn't see this problem in his windows build from 10/30.
What's your browser default charset (Preferences | Navigator | Language)?

I can't in fact reproduce the bug according to the original description, with auto-detect set to Universal, but only with auto-detect set to Chinese or East Asian.
timeless, I could not reproduce this problem. could you provide me some more clues?
