Hi Botond,
I tried to re-enable this test file on macos builds to see if it was still failing intermittently and it did never fail over some runs (each job was re-executed 4 times):

It is not unlikely those failures may have been related to some transient issue during the final phases related the "Unified Extensions" toolbar button/panel work before 109 (e.g. the unified extensions button initialization used to be async in earlier versions, and there have been also changes to the Customizable UI and browserAction internals to adapt them to the "Unified Extensions" panel) which may have got fixed in the meantime after the test got disabled on macos builds.

Do we want to try to re-enable it and see if it is back to pass consistently? (or if it is still intermittent over a bigger amount of runs)

+1 for re-enabling. I triggered some additional runs and they're passing as well.

I'll let you post the re-enablement patch since you've written it already, feel free to flag me for review.
