Details

On a CVS build of Phoenix, every other time I launch the browser, the window has a blank sidebar, and the personal toolbar is blank. These errors appear on the console: ###!!! ASSERTION: getElementById(""), fix caller?: '!aId.IsEmpty()', file /home/bryner/Source/mozilla/content/xul/document/src/nsXULDocument.cpp, line 3750 Break: at file /home/bryner/Source/mozilla/content/xul/document/src/nsXULDocument.cpp, line 3750 JavaScript error: chrome://browser/content/browser.js line 321: document.getElementById(cmd) has no properties Opening file cookperm.txt failed JavaScript error: chrome://browser/content/browser.js line 105: BMSVC has no properties
Also the bookmarks menu has no bookmarks when this happens. The bug does not happen if a sidebar was visible when exiting.
Also notice that the sidebar shows up on every second launch, even if you never have had it open. It cannot be closed either for me.
I clobbered my Phoenix build and the problem went away. Are you guys still seeing it? If so, are you using nightly builds or your own builds?
cvs build; didn't clobber, but updated today; now wfm.
Resolving as WORKSFORME since it works on my CVS build too.
