User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0

Steps to reproduce:

On some websites (It has happened to me in Mozilla connect and samsung.com), when clicking the login option and successfully entering username and password, it stays on a blank page. If you reload, nothing happens. If you go back and refresh, nothing happens.

Actual results:

Blank page after logging in.

Expected results:

The actual logged-in page.

Hi, Are you able to replicate with http logging enabled?
Can you attach or send to necko@mozilla.com?

Hello. Thanks for the assistance. I just sent the link to the file. I couldn't send the actual file because of the file size limit.

Update: I tried in a Private Browsing Window and it worked as expected. Also, something that I noticed is that the username input box has a small bug regarding the label when regular browsing, whereas Private Browsing does not. Check the following image: https://ibb.co/0hkP3jc

I also tried on my personal laptop with the same account. Same happened

I can't find something obvious wrong from the log, but this looks like related to cache.
Are you able to reproduce this with a new profile?
Looks like you already tried on another device. Did you use the same profile or different?
Could you also try to go to about:config and set network.http.rcwn.enabled to false and see if this still happens?
Thanks.

Thanks, Kershaw.

  • I created a new profile but loaded my login preferences and still same issue.
  • I also tried with network.http.rcwn.enabled = false and nothing happened.
  • On the other device, I tried with the same profile.

I finally found the problem. It was an extension, specifically: CouponBirds SmartCoupon Coupon Finder. I tried the Restart with the Add-ons disabled option in the profile manager and the login problem and the input label problems were missing.

Thanks again, Kershaw. You can close this.
