User story

As a product manager, I want to remind the user to select a colorway, so that they can express themselves through the color of their browser.

Target

1. User have not set up Colorways

2. User who open up Firefox View for the 4th time (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1786356)

Requirements

• 24hr must have passed since they last saw the firefox view callout

• Callout messaging surface attached to the Colorway content

• User only see this 1X per lifetime

We'll want to create a colorways reminder message
- Message content should match that of the final screen of existing feature callout tour, but without step indicators
- Frequency cap of once in a lifetime
- Targeting that ensures no message impressions from other callout messages in the last 24 hours, coloways active but not set up, the user has opened about:firefoxview for at least the fourth time

@Venetia what if a user opens about:firefoxview for the fourth time and does not meet other criteria (colorways isn't active, too soon after finishing initial callout tour, etc). Should we try to show the message on additional loads of about:firefoxview? So, targeting backed on whether they've visited about:firefoxview at least 3 times prior rather than strictly the fourth visit?

Yes - I like that. We should do "at least 3 times prior" instead of strictly the 4th visit and "at least 24hrs has passed since the last callout".

The callout message should have the colorways CTA as parentSelector so that it points directly to the action button.

I have verified this enhancement using the requirements and the target from the Description and I can confirm that the "Colorways" callout from the Continuous Onboarding is correctly displayed on the Firefox view page.
Verified using the latest Firefox Nightly (106.0a1 Build ID - 20220911214030) installed on Windows 10 x64, macOS 11.6.5, and Linux Mint 20.2 x64.
