Details

(Keywords: multi-monitors, Whiteboard: [win:multimonitors][win:sizing])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:106.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/106.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect second monitor (OS scale 100%) , and the primary monitor scale factor is 125%
  2. Move firefox nightly to the second monitor, it looks normal;
  3. But when I create a new TAB, and drag the tab to a separate window, the window becomes very big (125% scale?)

Actual results:

The separate window becomes big (UI, Menus, Web Contents and etc.)

Expected results:

The separate window should looks normal, just like the pre-one.

I can't reproduce this on a current Nightly -- which is unsurprising, as there's been some work done to fix similar bugs recently. @kong_lingcun, are you still seeing this behavior?

If so:

  • What are the resolutions of your monitors?
  • Regarding the window on the primary monitor where you're pulling the tab from: is it maximized? If not, what size is it?
