Steps to reproduce:

I'm using "FileLink provider for Send" as FileLink provider (https://addons.thunderbird.net/pl/thunderbird/addon/filelink-provider-for-send/):

I'm uploading and inserting attachement.

Actual results:

After uploading the attachement notification appear that files was uploaded (and it is - I've checked), but in the message there is only frame without link (see uploaded screenshot).

Expected results:

Frame should have link.

I know that you have been sent here by the developer of that provider, but at the moment I do not see why or how this happens.

I tested with a different provider (cloud*) and the API seems to work. Something most go wrong when the send provider is used.

Do you see errors on the console (Tools -> Developer Tools -> Error Console) which are triggered when you add a cloud file?

Where can I register a test account to try out the send provider on my own?

I've see some errors - I've uploaded it above. If I remember correctly I haven't register an account (I'm not tech guy, so I'm always looking for good and easy solution ;) )

Your screenshot says you are uploading to send.vis.ee. I will see if I can set up that provider without providing credentials.

I am the author of this add-on and I have not been able to reproduce it either, but I did get an e-mail from someone about a week ago who had a similar issue. They were using Thunderbird 102.1.2 (the portable version) on Windows 11 with the Russian locale.

Anyway, based on the screenshot in comment 2, that DOMException: Selection.collapse: The offset is out of range error in cloudAttachmentLinkManager.js looks to be the issue:

No credentials/accounts needed, all uploads are anonymous (see Bug 1516252).

@mateusz.kandefer: Are you using Thunderbird portable?

@mateusz.kandefer: Are you using Thunderbird portable?

No I'm not using portable version.

Strange thing I've noticed - links on 99% situation arę not visible (event after sending I've checked). Sometimes links are created correctly. I've seen this when replying to the message and had to send two links. One was created correctly second not. When I've delete both frames with links and started to attach new ones both were wrong.

I see an error of the cardbook extension in the log. Can you disable the cardbook extension and see if that changes the observed behaviour?

Reporter, do you still see this issue when using the latest version?
What information can you add to clarify the steps to reproduce this issue?
